For the review of the Twisted Hemp Wraps, we used the California Dream flavor.
Twisted offers a few other flavors in their arsenal as well. (Tropical Breeze, Grape Burst, Endless Summer, Sweet, and the Plain Jane)
The packaging for the Twisted Hemp Wraps is typical. As with most other hemp wraps, Twisted wraps come in a resealable pouch. The graphics are fairly clear. The packaging is labeled “4 Hemp Wraps for 99c”. It seems like it is rare to find these wraps at the $0.99 price.
To us we thought the wrap tasted like strawberry shortcake. not too strong. When smoking the wrap, we thought it blended well with our strain.
The Twisted California Dream wrap smells like strawberry shortcake. It has a strong sweet aroma with a hint of tobacco (though it does not contain tobacco). We are unsure as to why these would smell like tobacco. Perhaps they are made in place where tobacco is also handled.
Upon opening the pack, there are no signs of crumbling or tears in the wrap. There is a little bit of moisture to the wrap. There is enough pliability in the wrap to fold and bend it without it cracking. NOTE: We noticed that the freshness doesn’t last long. The wrap tends to dry out quickly. In fact, as we were evaluating the wraps in detail over a period of 2-3 minutes, they dried out. We opened a few other Twisted packages to check their freshness and determined its really hit and miss like with any other wrap. We definitely suggest a humidity control device..
These hemp wraps burn fairly well overall. They do run a little bit in the middle, but it could be related to the wrap drying out faster in some places and holding moisture in others.
With a price at $0.25 per wrap, these are definitely the cheapest wraps on the market today.
